Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred, or willing to work toward one within 3-5 years)

Wisconsin DPI Licensure (or ability to qualify for one)

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience preferred

Preference will be given to a practicing Catholic living in harmony with Catholic spiritual and moral teachings.

Part-Time Lunch Cook.  Are you or someone you know looking for a meaningful, part-time role that directly impacts our students? Sacred Heart School is seeking a dedicated and warm School Lunch Cook to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year!

 

This position is perfect for someone who loves cooking, enjoys working around a school schedule, and wants to bring a smile to our students’ faces every day.

 

Position Overview

• Part-Time on days school is in session.

• Hours: Approximately 4-5 hours per day and approximately 20-25 hours per week. 

• Key Responsibilities: Planning daily menus, purchasing/ordering ingredients (including some local travel to grocery stores), preparing and serving nutritious meals, and maintaining a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.

 

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in food preparation.

• Food safety training and knowledge of good dietary practices.

• Proficiency in preparing large quantities of food.

• Excellent human relations skills and a cheerful, courteous manner with students and staff.

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and maintain a neat, professional appearance.

Substitute Teachers.  Sacred Heart School is currently seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Sacred Heart School is a preschool through 6th grade school. This is a temporary, as needed position. Once hired, you will be placed on our substitute teachers list and called on an as-needed basis.

 

Position Summary: The Substitute School Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of students per classroom teacher lesson plans. The Sub Teacher should possess excellent communication skills, exhibit empathy and support for the academic and emotional needs of his or her students and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with a Sub License required.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Religious Atmosphere

• Provide a good Christian model and example in one’s attitudes and actions.

• Encourage spiritual growth in students by developing inner discipline, character, morals and values.

• Provide leadership in living and celebrating life and liturgies.

• Teaching Responsibilities

• Follow daily lesson plans provided to you in all required subjects.

• Provide a secure and comfortable learning environment.

  • Maintain a neat classroom.

  • Encourage a love of learning.

  • Take responsibility for the care of instructional materials and equipment.

• Supervising Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising students in accordance with the building regulations established.

  • Provide supervision in the areas to which his/her students are assigned.

  • Encourage students to conduct themselves in the manner and mode of conduct which has been defined as acceptable by the administrator and staff.

  • Accept and perform supervisory duties as assigned.

  • Supervise and discipline regardless of grade level.

• Share responsibility for safety and health of each child.
