Business Administrator.   Sacred Heart Parish currently has an opening for a Business Administrator.  This is a part-time position approximately 20-25 hours per week.   Work setting is onsite office.

 

Position Summary:  The Business Administrator assists the Pastor with stewardship of the physical, financial, and personnel resources of the parish in accordance with Diocesan policies and guidelines.

Substitute Teachers.  Sacred Heart School is currently seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Sacred Heart School is a preschool through 6th grade school. This is a temporary, as needed position. Once hired, you will be placed on our substitute teachers list and called on an as-needed basis.

 

Position Summary: The Substitute School Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of students per classroom teacher lesson plans. The Sub Teacher should possess excellent communication skills, exhibit empathy and support for the academic and emotional needs of his or her students and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with a Sub License required.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Religious Atmosphere

  • Provide a good Christian model and example in one’s attitudes and actions.

  • Encourage spiritual growth in students by developing inner discipline, character, morals and values.

  • Provide leadership in living and celebrating life and liturgies.

  • Teaching Responsibilities

  • Follow daily lesson plans provided to you in all required subjects.

  • Provide a secure and comfortable learning environment.

    • Maintain a neat classroom.

    • Encourage a love of learning.

    • Take responsibility for the care of instructional materials and equipment.

  • Supervising Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising students in accordance with the building regulations established.

    • Provide supervision in the areas to which his/her students are assigned.

    • Encourage students to conduct themselves in the manner and mode of conduct which has been defined as acceptable by the administrator and staff.

    • Accept and perform supervisory duties as assigned.

    • Supervise and discipline regardless of grade level.

  • Share responsibility for safety and health of each child.
